Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scorpion Sting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zangief Hagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sting's entrance music is Boom Boom Pow. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sting misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hagger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sting gets caught flat footed, as Hagger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hagger wants to pass the guard but Sting is keeping the position.
Hagger looking to sit in guard and control but Sting gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hagger controls Sting momentarily but Sting frees himself.

Sting would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

BOOM! Hagger connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hagger lands a big shot there that rocks Sting but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Hagger is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sting can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Sting utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Sting could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hagger seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Sting is holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hagger tries to get to full guard but Sting has control of the leg.

Sting is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hagger has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Zangief Hagger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Sting slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Hagger drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sting looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sting looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sting!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
