The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Crain, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Crain manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Augusto on his heels. He'll look to pass Augusto's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Augusto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Crain defends well.
Crain trying to control the position from guard on top but Augusto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Augusto avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Crain looking to pass the guard.
Crain with a flurry of punches that miss.

Augusto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Augusto keeping moving, preventing Crain from controlling successfully.

Augusto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crain wants to control from the top but Augusto keeps moving.

Augusto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Crain defends well.

Augusto is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Crain is pushing down on Augusto's leg trying to pass to half guard. Augusto is fighting to maintain full guard but Crain has managed to sneak the leg through.

Crain is working for a kimura but Augusto is defending it quite comfortably.

Crain is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Augusto is just riding it out for now. Crain eventually gives up the hold.

Augusto has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Crain. Oh but Augusto has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Crain goes limp - he's gone! Augusto jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
