The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lafleur throws a leg kick but Pashton sees it coming and moves out of range.

Lafleur moves into the clinch.
Lafleur scores with a shoulder strike.
Pashton wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Lafleur has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pashton uses from the top position.
Lafleur has control of Pashton's left arm, preventing Pashton from doing any damage.
Lafleur's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Pashton wants to stand but Lafleur is controlling his posture from full guard.

Pashton throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lafleur.

Lafleur knocks Pashton to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Mohammad Pashton has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lafleur lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Pashton! Lafleur senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Pashton out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
