Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Tatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gun Slinga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatov's entrance music is Soundgarden - Superunknown. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gun Slinga!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Slinga.
Slinga scores with a push kick.
Slinga tries to work over Tatov's front leg with a kick but Tatov checks it.
Tatov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Slinga thumps Tatov with a low kick.
A shot to the liver by Slinga. Beautiful body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slinga fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tatov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tatov misses the body punch
and Slinga counters with a straight right hand.
Tatov misses with a straight right.
Slinga misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Slinga throws a leg kick but Tatov sees it coming and moves out of range.
Tatov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tatov is breathing heavily.

Slinga lands a big uppercut and Tatov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tatov looks OK. Slinga waves Tatov back to his feet!
Slinga throws a head kick that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tatov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tatov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Slinga attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Good leg kick by Slinga there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Slinga misses with a body kick.
Tatov tries to work over Slinga's front leg with a kick but Slinga checks it.
Gun Slinga is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Slinga throws a push kick but Tatov slaps the foot to one side.
Tatov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Slinga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tatov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slinga as he jumps to the side.
Slinga attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Tatov throws a series of punches but Slinga moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tatov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Tatov moves out of range of the strikes.
Slinga fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tatov on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tatov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Slinga.
Slinga jabs Tatov to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Tatov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Slinga.
Slinga throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gun Slinga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slinga lands a big uppercut and Tatov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tatov looks OK. Slinga waves Tatov back to his feet!

Tatov is rocked!
Slinga knocks out Tatov with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Slinga before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Slinga picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gun Slinga!
A relieved looking Gun Slinga thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
