Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kel Varnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard has chosen cant be touched as his entrance music. Kel Varnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Varnson throws out a head kick that Lombard doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Lombard crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Lombard's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

It looks like Hector Lombard has been cut.

Varnson clinches up with Lombard and pushes him back against the ropes.

Varnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Varnson cracks Lombard with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Lombard is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Lombard is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Kel Varnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
