The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Myrene tries to keep at a distance but Copeland has taken the fight into the clinch.
Copeland has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Myrene after a bit of a struggle.

Myrene gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Copeland keeping moving, preventing Myrene from controlling successfully.
Myrene has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Copeland escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Myrene gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Myrene postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Copeland covers up, he's hurt! Myrene keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Myrene and the ref steps in to end the fight! Myrene can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
