The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves keeps the fight on the outside.

and Casados counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Casados loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Alves keeping full guard, as Casados tries to pass.
Alves is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Casados trying to control the position from guard on top but Alves is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Alves bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Casados's guard.
Casados seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Casados lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Alves!

Casados cracks Alves with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Casados is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Alves is forced to tap! Great finish!
