Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hype Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Voronkoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voronkoff comes into a darkened arena with his song building. System of a Down-Aerials kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Fighter's corner calls for a 1-2. Fighter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Fighter lands a nice hook to Voronkoff's body. Voronkoff takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fighter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fighter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Voronkoff tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fighter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Fighter counters with a nice body shot.
Voronkoff fails with a takedown attempt.
Hype Fighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Voronkoff shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter tries to sprawl out of it but Voronkoff keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hype Fighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrey Voronkoff.

Fighter closes the distance and pushes Voronkoff back into the cage.

Voronkoff is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fighter is defending well.
A short body shot lands from Fighter as the two fighters clinch.

Voronkoff wants to break free but Fighter has control.
Fighter is pressed up against the cage. Voronkoff has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fighter down to the mat. Fighter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

It looks like Andrey Voronkoff has been cut.
Voronkoff shoots in but Fighter avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fighter looks to land a combination. Voronkoff sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Voronkoff closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Voronkoff shoots in for a double leg but Fighter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hype Fighter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Voronkoff looks winded!

Voronkoff tries to keep at a distance but Fighter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fighter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Fighter slowing the pace effectively.
Fighter lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Fighter scores with a shot to the side of Voronkoff's head.
Fighter presses Voronkoff against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Voronkoff is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fighter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Voronkoff shoots in for a double leg but Fighter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A lazy left from Fighter finds it's target.
Voronkoff is trying desperately to land a takedown but Fighter is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Voronkoff.
A good leg kick by Fighter.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Voronkoff eats them both and turns towards Fighter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

That has opened up Andrey Voronkoff's cut even more.
Voronkoff throws out a loose jab but Fighter uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fighter clinches up with Voronkoff and pushes him back against the cage.
Fighter lands an elbow that stopped Voronkoff in his tracks for a moment.
Voronkoff has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fighter avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Fighter scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Fighter creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Voronkoff's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Voronkoff drops to his knees and Fighter pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
