Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Flex Klyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garcia has chosen Ich Bin Klein as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Garcia! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klyka fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Garcia stuffs the takedown attempt from Klyka. Klyka gets slowly back to his feet. Klyka drives through with a takedown into guard. Klyka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Klyka looking to pass the guard. Klyka won't allow Garcia to sweep him here. Klyka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Garcia has his foot on Klyka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Klyka works his way back into a safe position though. Garcia is trying to control the position but Klyka postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia keeping moving, preventing Klyka from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Garcia stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flex Klyka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Garcia shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Garcia pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Garcia misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Garcia breaks from Klyka's wrist control and lands an elbow. Garcia punishing his opponent with strikes. Garcia takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Klyka holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Garcia tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Garcia looking to control but Klyka is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Garcia thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Klyka can't escape the position.
Garcia putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Klyka is desperately trying to improve his position but Garcia has a good base and remains in mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garcia tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Klyka is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Klyka is working hard here to advance position. Garcia trying to control but Klyka is having none of it. Klyka sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Klyka looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Klyka is pressing down on Garcia's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Garcia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Klyka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Klyka had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Garcia is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Klyka Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Garcia's back instead. Garcia trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Garcia showing good submission defense here.
Klyka is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Garcia taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Klyka.
