PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Strugalsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Indrid Cold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strugalsky comes to the cage accompanied by Muay Thai. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Indrid Cold enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cold has closed the distance and engaged Strugalsky in a clinch.
Cold with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Strugalsky blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Cold is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Strugalsky is defending well for now.
Strugalsky looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Cold tries to land a knee to the head but Strugalsky blocks with his arms.
Strugalsky avoiding damage as Cold throws knees to the body.
Strugalsky creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Strugalsky gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Indrid Cold has been cut.

Cold escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Cold breaks the clinch.
Strugalsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cold manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cold throws a head kick but Strugalsky moves out of range.
Cold thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Cold counters by moving into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cold tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Strugalsky avoids it.
Cold blocks the elbow strike.
Strugalsky looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Cold escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Cold counters with a nice leg kick.
Cold throws a front kick aimed at Strugalsky's knee but Strugalsky avoids it well.

Strugalsky has Cold up against the cage in a clinch.
Strugalsky has Cold pressed against the cage, preventing Cold from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Cold is looking to control Strugalsky's arms but Strugalsky gets an underhook and turns him. Now Cold has his back to the cage.

Strugalsky pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Strugalsky creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Cold's defenses.

That has opened up Indrid Cold's cut even more.
Cold tries to land knees in the clinch but Strugalsky avoids the damage to the body.
Cold has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Cold blocks the elbow strike.
A bit of stalling here from Cold.

Cold manages to break the clinch.
Cold shoots in for a takedown but Strugalsky shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The cut above Indrid Cold's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Indrid Cold's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Cold is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Indrid Cold's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Roman Strugalsky very nearly forgot to thank KAISER amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
