Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rayce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ty yy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). yy has chosen fast lane as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, ty yy!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
yy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gracie slips a jab and a cross from yy.
yy throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.
Some wild striking there from yy.
yy lands a head shot.
Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

yy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gracie quickly recovers to half guard.

yy is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Gracie manages to get to full guard.
Gracie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for yy!

Gracie has hold of yy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and yy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gracie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. yy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
yy is trying to stand.

Gracie jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but yy manages to avoid the submission attempt.
yy is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gracie has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Gracie tries for a kimura but yy is defending well.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

yy wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by yy, who protects the arm well.
yy tries to escape but Gracie is in control.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, yy has escaped the position, nice work there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
yy wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. yy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
