Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Learmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Deurell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Learmont comes to the cage accompanied by Krallice - Wretched Wisdom. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deurell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Learmont misses with a straight right.
Deurell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Deurell throws a lazy right hand but Learmont sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Deurell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
