The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schindler throws a quick inside leg kick.
Cerrone fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cerrone tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Schindler counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The referee is keeping an eye on Schindler - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
