Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Walter Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henri Eskola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop comes to the cage accompanied by teenagers. Henri Eskola has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Walter Bishop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Henri Eskola!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eskola shoots in for a double leg but Bishop sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Bishop gets tackled into the cage by Eskola. Eskola maintains the clinch.
Bishop effectively controlling the action here.

Bishop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Eskola pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bishop forces Eskola back against the cage and clinches.
Bishop lands a body punch.
Bishop pressing his opponent against the cage.
Bishop lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Bishop manages to break the clinch.

Bishop closes the distance and clinches.
Bishop tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Eskola's elbow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bishop digs a right hand underneath Eskola's ribcage. Eskola let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Bishop has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Eskola clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bishop somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Bishop scores with punches and elbows.
Eskola trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Bishop biding his time, looking for the opening.
Eskola tries to escape the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bishop thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Even with his hooks in, Bishop manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Eskola tries to escape but Bishop has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Bishop is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Eskola up.
Eskola is trying to remain composed but Bishop is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Eskola is trapped and Bishop is scoring with shots to the head and body.


Eskola is rocked!

Eskola is still in real trouble! Can Bishop finish him?
Bishop lands a shot to the body.

Bishop looking for the choke from the back.
Eskola seems to have recovered his senses.
Bishop lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Bishop not allowing Eskola to control his hands.
Bishop is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Eskola. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.


Eskola is rocked!
Eskola wants to get back to his feet.
Eskola is trying to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Eskola staying busy and making it hard for Bishop to control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eskola defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bishop working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Eskola trying to control the action but Bishop just sinks the hooks in.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Eskola covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walter Bishop dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Eskola drives through and clinches with Bishop against the cage.
Bishop taking a breather.

Bishop pulls guard.
Eskola trying to control the position from guard on top but Bishop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bishop throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Eskola is looking to advance position but Bishop has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Bishop lands a heavy elbow.
Bishop is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Eskola can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Eskola is still in real trouble! Can Bishop finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bishop loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Eskola scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Bishop land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Bishop stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Walter Bishop!
Walter Bishop really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Punishment Nutrition - All 159Q products now $75 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
