Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Galaxy Nexus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choppy Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nexus scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Jensen tries to sprawl but Nexus drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Nexus missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Nexus is looking to advance position but Jensen won't allow it.

Nexus is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jensen defends it well.
Nexus working Jensen over with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nexus thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jensen is trying to stand up here but Nexus is controlling him well.
Nexus stalling away here and it's allowed Jensen to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nexus looking to sit in guard and control but Jensen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jensen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Nexus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nexus tries to get out of the position.
Nexus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jensen's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jensen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nexus controls the pace.
Nexus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nexus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jensen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Jensen has momentary wrist control but Nexus slips an elbow through the middle.

Nexus postures up in Jensen's guard and throws a big left but Jensen blocks it.

Nexus stands up over Jensen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Nexus's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Nexus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Nexus trying to control the position from guard on top but Jensen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jensen can't keep his opponent in guard - Nexus advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Nexus postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jensen in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jensen to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
