Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jayden Dunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nolan Patterson!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson lands a leg kick that knocks Dunn off balance momentarily.
Patterson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dunn as he jumps to the side.
Dunn tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Patterson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dunn's knee momentarily.
Dunn misses with a series of wild punches.
Patterson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dunn gets a clinch.
Patterson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dunn blocks it with crossed arms.
Patterson breaks the clinch.
A good leg kick by Patterson.
Dunn connects with a looping right hand.
Dunn shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dunn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Patterson tries to avoid it but Dunn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Patterson to the ground. Patterson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dunn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Patterson tries to keep at a distance but Dunn has taken the fight into the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jayden Dunn.
I think Dunn has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
