Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Madison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathers comes to the cage accompanied by Superman. Madison has chosen I'm in love with a stripper as his entrance music. Jack Madison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 4, fighting out of Tokyo, Marshall Mathers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Madison!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madison digs a good hook to Mathers's body.
Mathers ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Madison closes the distance and clinches up with Mathers, looking for a takedown. Madison pushes Mathers against the cage but Mathers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A big right from Madison misses.
Madison misses with a looping left.
Mathers takes one on the button.
Mathers blocks a jab.
Madison pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jack Madison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mathers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Madison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mathers somewhat.
Madison throws an off balance right hand
and Mathers counters with a solid body kick.
Mathers lands with an uppercut that bounces Madison off the cage and back into range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Madison misses with a left hand

and Mathers counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mathers.

Mathers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Madison throws an off balance right hand
and Madison takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Madison lands a jab to the nose.
Madison checks the leg kick.
Mathers blocks the body kick.
Mathers doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Madison gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Mathers counters with a nice low kick that buckles Madison's knee momentarily.

Mathers lands with a nice body punch.
Madison on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Madison takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mathers misses with a head kick.
Mathers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Madison has time to react.
Mathers misses with a wild body shot.
Madison misses with a looping left.
Madison takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Mathers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mathers takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Mathers shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Madison is trying to defend but Mathers finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mathers with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Madison is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mathers's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mathers's back!

Mathers is having to fend off submission attempts from Madison, who is looking to sink in the choke. Madison doesn't have the hooks in though and Mathers manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Madison is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mathers is controlling him.
Mathers wants to control from the top but Madison keeps moving.
Mathers with a flurry of punches that miss.
Mathers in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Madison wants to sweep here but Mathers controlling him for the moment.
Mathers trying to control the position from guard on top but Madison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mathers lands a couple of elbows.

Mathers wants to control from the top but Madison keeps moving.
Madison utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mathers chips away with some ground and pound.
Mathers preventing the sweep.
Mathers postures up in Madison's guard and throws a big left but Madison blocks it.
Madison is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mathers is controlling him.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mathers lands a couple of digs.
Madison wants to get back to his feet but Mathers is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mathers pushing down on Madison's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Mathers working over Madison with some ground and pound. Madison looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Mathers looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Madison with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Madison is looking to control Mathers's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Madison avoid being mounted?
Mathers slips a nice elbow through Madison's hands, connecting with Madison's forehead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mathers looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mathers throwing shots but Madison is blocking nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mathers throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mathers has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Mathers is landing with some decent strikes but Madison is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Mathers counters by clinching up.
Mathers has Madison pressed against the cage, preventing Madison from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Mathers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mathers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Mathers.
Mathers swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Madison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mathers connects with a body shot.
Mathers swats away the attempt to clinch by Madison.
Madison swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Madison connects with the punch.
Mathers connects with an inside leg kick.
A solid body kick from Mathers.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mathers throws a head kick that misses.
Mathers scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Madison doesn't seem bothered though.

Madison misses the body punch
enabling Mathers to counter with a crisp jab.
Mathers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Madison shoots in for a takedown but Mathers shows good takedown defense.
Madison is breathing heavily.
Mathers stalks Madison and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Madison's face. Madison staggers backwards, shaken.
Madison takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mathers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Madison has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Mathers lands a big head kick that sends Madison tumbling to the mat! Mathers takes a step backwards and waves Madison back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Madison is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mathers lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Madison backs up against the cage.
Madison is still on wobbly legs! Can Mathers finish him?
Madison walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mathers.
Madison misses with a right hand
and Mathers counters with a nice low kick that buckles Madison's knee momentarily.
Mathers is stalking Madison. Madison circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Mathers, and it's lights out! Madison really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
