PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tsartas Kasuranis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Braddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin Braddock told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Austin Braddock!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasuranis drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kasuranis looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Braddock closes the distance and clinches.
Braddock will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kasuranis up against the cage.
Braddock is trying to break free.
Kasuranis is trying to drag Braddock to the mat but Braddock just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Braddock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Braddock misses with the combination.
Braddock displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Braddock throws a right and a left that both miss.

Braddock rushes Kasuranis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Braddock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kasuranis slips a jab and a cross from Braddock.
Braddock looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Braddock lands a left and a right that send Kasuranis crashing to the mat, dazed. Braddock thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kasuranis is rocked!

It looks like Tsartas Kasuranis has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Braddock steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Kasuranis is out on his feet! Braddock sets himself and nearly takes Kasuranis's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
