Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Drew Infamous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Infamous comes to the cage accompanied by Maino - Soldier. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Drew Infamous!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Infamous thows a left - swing and a miss!
Taylor moves forwards but Infamous connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Taylor drops his hands momentarily and Infamous takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Infamous drops Taylor with a right and a left! Infamous comes rushing in but Taylor regains his composure and manages to keep Infamous in guard.
Taylor is rocked!
Infamous is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Taylor is still in real trouble! Can Infamous finish him?
Taylor lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Infamous!
Taylor seems to have recovered his senses.

Infamous bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taylor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Taylor working for submissions but it's allowed Infamous to get to half guard.
Infamous will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Taylor kicks Infamous off and gets back to his feet.
Taylor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Infamous swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Infamous shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Taylor as he jumps to the side.
Taylor closes the distance and clinches.
Infamous really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Infamous tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Taylor just stands there and leans against the cage.
Infamous drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Drew Infamous. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Taylor using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Infamous has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Infamous is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Taylor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Taylor drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Infamous manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Taylor has Infamous in his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Taylor looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Taylor looks gassed!
Infamous pushing down on Taylor's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Taylor tries to roll over but Infamous keeps him under control.
Infamous wants to control but Taylor is keeping him busy.

Infamous is thwarting Taylor's attempts to control the position.
Taylor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Taylor looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Infamous passes into side control.
Infamous is putting a hurting on Taylor here, landing some big shots from side control.
Taylor tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Infamous cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Taylor is looking to improve his position but Infamous isn't that keen on the idea.
Taylor defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Infamous.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Infamous works the jab nicely.
Infamous lands a head shot.
Alex Taylor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Infamous misses with a two punch combination.
Taylor wants to clinch.
Infamous avoids the head kick by Taylor.

Infamous scores with the left hand. Taylor knows he should have avoided that one.
Taylor slips under a jab from Infamous.
Taylor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Infamous lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Taylor is looking to clinch.
Infamous throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Taylor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Taylor takes one to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice defenses there by Taylor.
Infamous throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Taylor colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Infamous as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Taylor is left battered and dazed whilst Infamous and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drew Infamous!
