Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lord lands a head shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dog is defended easily by Lord.
Lord throws a right hand that Dog ducks under and follows up with a left that Dog also avoids with ease.
Dog has a takedown stuffed.
Lord turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lord tries to clinch up but Dog circles away and keeps his distance.
Lord wants to clinch but Dog slips to the side
and Dog counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Good leg kick by Lord there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dog fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mad Dog. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dog throws a sloppy body shot
and Lord counters with a stiff right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dog gets a clinch.
Dog lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Lord lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Mad Dog has been cut.
Dog has Lord pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lord manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Dog manages to break the clinch.
Dog takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A bone on bone clash there as Dog blocks the leg kick.

Lord scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lord connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dog's hands.
Dog tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lord swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A head kick misses from Dog.
Lord swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lord scores with a nice strike.
Lord displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Lord lands a jab to the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dog keeps the fight on the outside.
Lord connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lord cracks a nice hook into Dog's ribs.

Dog drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dog lands a couple of elbows.
Lord has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Dog lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Lord is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Dog looking to sit in guard and control but Lord gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dog working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lord doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Dog is tightening it up a little... Lord has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lord reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lord taps out! Nice BJJ there by Dog!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Mad Dog!
Mad Dog spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
