Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Macros Motaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaito Rin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rin has chosen Tracktor Bowling - Scars as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Macros Motaro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaito Rin!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Motaro checks a leg kick.

Rin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Motaro on his heels. He'll look to pass Motaro's guard now, I'm sure.
Rin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Rin wants to pass the guard but Motaro is keeping the position.
Rin showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Motaro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Rin wants to improve his position but Motaro is controlling well.
Motaro prevents Rin from standing back up.

Rin is trying to control but can't.
Rin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rin won't allow Motaro to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kaito Rin wasn't active enough on the ground.
Motaro's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Motaro scrambles back to his feet.
Motaro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Motaro wants it to stay on the feet.

Rin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Motaro's calf.
Rin defending well as Motaro loads up on a big left hand.
Motaro misses with an uppercut. Rin saw that one coming.
Rin lands a glancing blow to the side of Motaro's head.
Rin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Motaro tries to avoid it but Rin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Motaro to the ground. Motaro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rin throws a low kick but Motaro moves out of range easily.
Motaro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Motaro wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Motaro avoids it really well and circles away.
Macros Motaro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaito Rin.
Rin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rin misses with an uppercut
and Motaro counters with a low kick, right behind Rin 's knee.
Motaro keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jab, jab by Rin - just one landing.
Motaro misses with a hook.
Rin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Motaro counters with a nice body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Motaro scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Rin lands with a kick to the ribs.
Rin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rin just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Motaro. Rin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

That was a close round but I would say that Macros Motaro will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Motaro's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rin under the eye.
Motaro lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rin misses with an uppercut.
Rin throws a push kick but Motaro slaps the foot to one side.
The crowd cheers as Rin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Motaro doesn't seem phased though.
Rin shoots in and drives through. Motaro sprawls well.

Motaro tries to sprawl but Rin drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Rin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Motaro sees it coming and defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Motaro wants to improve his position but Rin is controlling well.

Rin is just content to waste time from the top position. Motaro takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Motaro is pushing down on Rin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rin is fighting to maintain full guard but Motaro has managed to sneak the leg through.

Motaro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rin on the ground.
Motaro content to control rather than advance.
Rin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Motaro is working away from the top position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Motaro uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rin.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rin.
Motaro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Motaro moves in looking to clinch but Rin pushes him off.
Rin throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Rin looks to score with a jab to the body but Motaro is just out of range.
Good leg kick by Rin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Motaro lands with an uppercut that bounces Rin off the cage and back into range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kaito Rin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rin avoids the body shot from Motaro.
Rin lands a slapping body shot.
Motaro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Motaro connects with a looping right hand.
Rin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Motaro was well out of range. Poor timing from Rin.
