Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mister Spock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spock comes to the cage accompanied by Rolling Stones- 2,000 Light Years From Home. Connor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ça vaut mieux que d'attraper la scarlatine by Ray Venture kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor throws a lazy right hand but Spock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Connor is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Spock's half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Connor thows a huge punch but Spock dodges it nicely.
Spock tries to roll over but Connor keeps him under control.
Connor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Spock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A determined Mister Spock didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
