Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Stanlay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Doering (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doering misses with a takedown

and Stanlay counters with a nice double leg into side control. Doering won't be happy with that.
Doering tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Stanlay could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Doering is looking to improve his position but Stanlay isn't that keen on the idea.
Stanlay takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Stanlay seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Doering for as long as he can get away with.

Stanlay fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doering, pushing him back against the cage.

Doering is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stanlay is defending well.

Doering has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stanlay clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Doering has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Stanlay is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Doering.
