Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Rathbone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeffrey Rathbone will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rathbone gets caught flat footed, as Sanchez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rathbone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sanchez is one step ahead there.
Sanchez throwing strikes but missing.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sanchez's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sanchez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rathbone's head.
Rathbone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sanchez is controlling him.
Sanchez throws a strike but Rathbone rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Sanchez wants to stand up but Rathbone is controlling him.
Sanchez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Rathbone throws a big elbow that misses.
Rathbone won't allow Sanchez to get back to his feet.

Sanchez wants to stand but Rathbone is controlling the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt - Rathbone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rathbone is looking to clinch.
Sanchez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rathbone is fending him off so far but Sanchez persists. Nope, Rathbone circles away and we're back to standing.
Rathbone goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Sanchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rathbone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Sanchez and the ref steps in to end the fight! Sanchez can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
