Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory Lyons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lui Kwang Sun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lui Kwang Sun!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyons tries to land a front kick but Kwang Sun steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kwang Sun tries for a takedown but Lyons sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lyons drives through and clinches with Kwang Sun against the cage.
Lyons misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kwang Sun drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lyons tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kwang Sun's elbow.

Well, with Kwang Sun on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Lyons is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Lyons manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kwang Sun's guard. Nice work there by Lyons.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lyons accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kwang Sun working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lyons doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lyons manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kwang Sun jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lyons walks away with a smile on his face. Kwang Sun gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lui Kwang Sun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kwang Sun tries to move into range but Lyons moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Lyons throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kwang Sun.
A lazy left from Lyons finds it's target.
Lui Kwang Sun is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kwang Sun is looking to chop away at Lyons's legs.

Kwang Sun gets caught napping as Lyons dives in and scores a takedown. Kwang Sun manages to retain guard.

Kwang Sun throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lyons uses it to pass to side control.

Kwang Sun tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lyons wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lyons tries to score with some ground and pound. Kwang Sun controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Kwang Sun takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kwang Sun tries to buck Lyons off but Lyons is having none of it.

Rory Lyons overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kwang Sun looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lyons is fending him off so far but Kwang Sun persists. Nope, Lyons circles away and we're back to standing.

Lyons feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kwang Sun sprawling to the canvas! Kwang Sun rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lyons finish him?!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lyons drops Kwang Sun with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Kwang Sun! Lyons dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
