PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bull Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Zook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrier comes to the cage accompanied by Closer - Nine Inch Nales. On his way into the cage it seems that Bull Terrier has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bull Terrier seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrier throws out a loose jab but Zook uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zook bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Terrier misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zook misses with a kick to the body.
Terrier misses with a looping left.

Terrier throws a hook but Zook avoids it easily.

Zook postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Terrier has his feet on Zook's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Zook walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

With the fighters up against the cage, Zook throws an elbow but misses.
Zook tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Terrier smiles and moves away.

Zook doesn't manage to clinch there - Terrier circles away.
Terrier swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zook counters with a body kick.
Terrier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zook circles away quickly and effectively.
Terrier fails to land with a series of punches.
Terrier avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Terrier takes a swing at Zook's ribcage but misses.

Zook keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zook tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Terrier swivels and escapes.
Bull Terrier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solomon Zook.

Zook lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Zook is looking to slow Terrier down with leg kicks.

Terrier fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zook manages to avoid it.
Terrier is looking to wear down Zook with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Zook tries to close the distance and clinch up but Terrier swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Terrier cracks Zook with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zook tries to score a power double leg takedown but Terrier sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zook somewhat.

Zook is trying to trip Terrier. He has hold of a leg but Terrier is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Zook persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Zook and the ref steps in to end the fight! Zook can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
