The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strawberry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bergmann rushes Strawberry and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

It looks like Daniel Strawberry has been cut.
Strawberry swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Strawberry wants to break the clinch but can't.

Strawberry is trying to drag Bergmann to the mat but Bergmann just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Strawberry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bergmann sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Strawberry somewhat.
Bergmann uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
