Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Drizzt Do Urden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olafs Skabene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drizzt Do Urden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Olafs Skabene!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do Urden pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Skabene scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Do Urden throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Skabene avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Skabene misses with a takedown attempt - Do Urden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Do Urden throws a solid leg kick but Skabene takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Do Urden.
Skabene is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Do Urden lands with a nice body kick.
Skabene blocks the body kick.
Skabene fails with the takedown.

Skabene closes the distance and pushes Do Urden back into the cage.

Skabene drags the fight down to the ground.
Do Urden looking to pass the guard.

Skabene looking for a guillotine here but Do Urden defends easily.

Do Urden looking to pass the guard.
Do Urden is working hard here to advance position.
Skabene seems keen to control Do Urden's posture.
Do Urden throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Skabene works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Skabene holds on and takes a little breather.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Olafs Skabene was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Skabene looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Drizzt Do Urden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olafs Skabene.
Skabene on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Do Urden. Do Urden obviously looking to wear him down.
A nice inside leg kick there by Do Urden. That's going to slow Skabene down.

Skabene gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Do Urden tries a knee to the head but Skabene blocks it.

Skabene gets control of Do Urden's arms and successfully pulls guard. Skabene will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Do Urden throws a big elbow that misses.
Do Urden passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Skabene looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Do Urden wants to control but Skabene is keeping him busy.
Skabene stops Do Urden from passing to mount.

Skabene is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Do Urden works to advance to full mount. Skabene defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Do Urden is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Skabene has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Do Urden takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Do Urden tries to keep control of the position but Skabene is staying busy.
Do Urden misses with an elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Do Urden slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Skabene looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Do Urden tries to get the hooks in deep but Skabene pushed the leg off.
Do Urden is really struggling to control Skabene but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Do Urden tightening his grip on Skabene, looking for the choke.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Skabene is trying to shake Do Urden off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Do Urden won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Do Urden is looking to slow Skabene down with leg kicks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drizzt Do Urden dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Skabene misses with a kick to the body.
Skabene tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Do Urden paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Skabene doesn't manage to clinch there - Do Urden circles away.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Do Urden - that will leave a mark!
Skabene swinging wildly here.
Skabene looks to land a combination. Do Urden sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Skabene moves out of range of the body kick from Do Urden.
Do Urden throws a leg kick but Skabene checks it.
Do Urden with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Olafs Skabene is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Skabene scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Do Urden regains full guard. Nicely done.

Do Urden looking for a guillotine here but Skabene defends easily.
Skabene is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Do Urden wants to sweep but no luck.
Skabene throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Do Urden is looking for a triangle but Skabene pushes his legs off easily.
Do Urden controls Skabene momentarily but Skabene frees himself.

Skabene is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Do Urden has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Skabene is looking to defend but Do Urden has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Skabene! Do Urden pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Skabene taps out and this one is all over!
