The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Karatakayan shoots in but Von avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Von circles away from the clinch attempt.
Karatakayan clinches with his opponent.
Karatakayan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Von avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Karatakayan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Von to keep the fight standing.
Cat Von has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Argin Karatakayan.
Von tries to circle away but Karatakayan has him pinned against the cage.
Von is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Karatakayan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Von is defending well.
Von has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Von wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Karatakayan has him pressed against the cage.
Von wants to break the clinch but can't.
Karatakayan tries to throw a body punch but Von avoids it by throwing Karatakayan back against the cage.
Karatakayan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Von pulls his leg out and moves away.
Karatakayan has a takedown stuffed.
Karatakayan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Von circles away.
Von fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Von, right into the meat.
Karatakayan looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Whack! Von lands a heavy head kick that drops Karatakayan. The ref tackles Von to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Karatakayan was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Cat Von!
Cat Von took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'ill kick his managers balls into his Gut ...'.
