Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Ak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Sergei Ak enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Ak!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ak with a poor takedown
and Evans counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ak shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Evans as he avoids it easily.
No luck for Ak with that takedown attempt.
Marcus Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Ak.
Evans misses with a body shot.
Evans ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Evans cracks a nice hook into Ak's ribs.
Ak fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ak walks into a straight right hand from Evans.
It looks like Sergei Ak has been cut.
Evans takes a swing at Ak's ribcage but misses.

Ak scores with a nice hook to the head.
Evans tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ak looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Ak lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Evans backwards.
Ak misses with the head strike.
Evans prevents Ak from breaking the clinch.
Ak stops a takedown attempt from Evans.
Ak blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ak lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Evans backwards.
Ak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ak walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Evans swivels and escapes.
Evans is looking to wear down Ak with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ak takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ak tries to clinch there but Evans circles away.
Ak wants to clinch.
Evans throws a right and a left that both miss.
Evans tries to work over Ak's front leg with a kick but Ak checks it.
Ak throws a head kick that Evans semi-blocks.
It looks like Marcus Evans has been cut.
Marcus Evans is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ak throws a right and a left that Evans avoids nicely.
Ak takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Evans throws a jab but it's blocked by Ak.
Evans misses with an uppercut. Ak saw that one coming.
Ak gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ak checks a low kick from Evans.
Evans cracks Ak with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Evans misses with a hook. Ak ducked under it nicely.
Evans scores with a punch to the head.
Nice shot lands for Evans.
Evans lands with a cross.
Evans looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ak fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ak tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Evans counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ak won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Evans landing a few strikes.
Ak is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Evans is trying to control. Ak wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ak regains full guard. Nicely done.
Evans is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ak looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Evans puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Ak tries to roll over but Evans keeps him under control.
Ak is refusing to be controlled, as Evans sits in half guard.
Ak works his way to full guard. Good work.
Ak bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Evans's guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ak pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Evans is keeping the position for now.
Ak won't allow Evans to get back to his feet.
Ak throws a big right hand that misses.
Ak tries to free his leg and advance position but Evans is retaining full guard.
Evans pulls Ak in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ak trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Evans dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Evans avoids it really well and circles away.
Evans throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Evans is putting a hurting on Ak here, landing some big shots from side control.
Evans lands a few punches from side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Evans looks up at the clock and then as Ak takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Evans smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ak on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The cut above Sergei Ak's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Evans will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Sergei Ak's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sergei Ak's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
