Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Harter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Budo Rei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harter comes to the cage accompanied by Stevie Ray Vaughan "Rude Mood" . Rei has chosen Alice in Chains - No Excuses as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Budo Rei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rei throws a shot from downtown. Harter moves away and avoids it.
Harter feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Reis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Harter takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Rei buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rei digs a good body shot into Harter's ribs.

Harter slips a jab and a cross from Rei.
Rei dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Harter. That did some damage!

Rei takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Rei throws a push kick but Harter slaps the foot to one side.

Harter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rei was well out of range. Poor timing from Harter.

Harter is breathing heavily.

Rei scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rei.
Harter lands with a hook. Rei tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rei finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's time! Harter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rei throws the kick towards the body but Harter avoids it.

Rei throws a chopping leg kick but Harter manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Harter steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rei. That one must have hurt.
Rei lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Harter at a distance.
Rei throws a solid leg kick but Harter takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rei.
Rei lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harter, as that shot connected.

and Harter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rei drops Harter with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Harter looks back up at him and smiles so Rei waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Harter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rei missing with a left hand there. Harter was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Harter is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Rei tried to score with a low kick but Harter checks it.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Harter might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
