Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Corrida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Jane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corrida kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Shadowhunter. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jane scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Corrida doesn't seem bothered though.

Corrida walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Jane counters with a left and a right that stings Corrida.
Corrida is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Corrida takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Jane is fighting off a takedown attempt but Corrida is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jane to the mat. Jane regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Corrida wants to hold on but Jane pushes him away.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jane throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Corrida connects with a nice short shot to Jane's temple.

Jane might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Corrida haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
