Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brynjard Tristan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Abbot!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbot lands a with a good body shot.
Abbot throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A jab from Abbot misses.
Abbot bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tristan's head backwards.
Tristan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

It looks like Brynjard Tristan has been cut.

Tristan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Abbot gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Abbot would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Tristan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Abbot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Abbot must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Tristan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Abbot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tristan momentarily.

Tristan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Abbot is fending him off so far but Tristan persists. Nope, Abbot circles away and we're back to standing.

Tristan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Abbot as he jumps to the side.
Frank Abbot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Abbot swats away the attempt to clinch by Tristan.
Tristan takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Tristan has a takedown stuffed.
Abbot throws an overhand right that lands on Tristan's shoulder, as Tristan tries to avoid the shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Abbot swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tristan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Abbot tests Tristan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Abbot connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Tristan! He's out on his feet! Abbot rushes in and drops Tristan with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
