Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James closes the distance and clinches up with The Drunk, looking for a takedown. James pushes The Drunk against the cage but The Drunk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and The Drunk counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in James's guard now.

The Drunk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but James does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The Drunk is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so James is just riding it out for now. The Drunk eventually gives up the hold.

James has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can The Drunk defend it? James steps over the head and cranks it - The Drunk is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for James!

In his post fight interview, Marcus James started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
