Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between KO Kaelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, KO Kaelin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Kaelin.
Nice defenses there by Hernandez.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kaelin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hernandez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hernandez throws an elbow that misses. Kaelin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hernandez's guard. Nice move by Kaelin!

Kaelin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hernandez on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of KO Kaelin.

Hernandez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kaelin did well to prevent Hernandez getting side control.

Well, if Hernandez is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hernandez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kaelin is just riding it out for now. Hernandez eventually gives up the hold.

Hernandez looks to land a strike but Kaelin avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Hernandez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaelin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hernandez throws a strike but Kaelin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kaelin wants to control from the top but Hernandez keeps moving.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Juan Hernandez dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Hernandez tries for a takedown but Kaelin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kaelin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hernandez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hernandez gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kaelin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hernandez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kaelin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hernandez has gone for a leg lock! Kaelin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hernandez's guard.

Kaelin wants to control from the top but Hernandez keeps moving.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hernandez holds on and takes a little breather.

Hernandez wants to improve his position but instead Kaelin has moved into half guard.
Hernandez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kaelin is working away from the top position though.
Hernandez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kaelin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kaelin's back!

Hernandez throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Hernandez connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Kaelin to escape the position.

It looks like KO Kaelin has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kaelin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hernandez on the side of the head.
Kaelin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Kaelin drops Hernandez with a beautiful combination! Hernandez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kaelin is looking for the KO!

KO Kaelin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Hernandez.

Hernandez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kaelin avoids it really well and circles away.
Hernandez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
No joy there for Kaelin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
KO Kaelin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hernandez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hernandez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kaelin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hernandez somewhat.

Hernandez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kaelin sprawls well. Kaelin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hernandez gets slowly back to his feet.
KO Kaelin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kaelin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hernandez on the side of the head.

Hernandez shoots in for a double leg but Kaelin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hernandez shoots in looking for a takedown but Kaelin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hernandez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kaelin dances in with a quick combination. Hernandez is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kaelin snaps Hernandez's head back. Hernandez stumbles backwards against the cage. Kaelin steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Hernandez's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Hernandez just didn't come prepared.
