PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Swe Dish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: ThunderStruck. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Storm!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Dish.
Storm fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Storm closes the distance and clinches up with Dish, looking for a takedown. Storm pushes Dish against the cage but Dish circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Storm takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Storm shoots in for a takedown but Dish shows good takedown defense.
Swe Dish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Storm.
Dish fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Storm.
Dish misses with a series of wild punches.
Dish throws a right hand that Storm ducks under and follows up with a left that Storm also avoids with ease.
Storm with a poor takedown
enabling Dish to counter with a crisp jab.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Dish. Storm shrugs it off though.
Dish throws a leg kick but Storm sees it coming and moves out of range.
Dish lands a leg kick that knocks Storm off balance momentarily.
Dish lands with a kick to the temple. Storm shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick from Dish lands but Storm takes it in his stride.
Dish cracks the inside of Storm's front leg.
Dish scores with a kick to the midsection.
Storm slips a jab and a cross from Dish.
Swe Dish is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dish thows a body shot but no joy.
Dish connects with a solid leg kick.
Storm with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Storm looks winded!
Dish tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Storm was well out of range. Poor timing from Dish.
Storm is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dish is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Storm.
Dish lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dish stalks Storm and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Storm's face. Storm staggers backwards, shaken.

Storm is rocked!
Dish fakes the body blow, causing Storm to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Storm goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Swe Dish!
A very excited looking Swe Dish rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
