Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Smith!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Smith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Meeks throws out the jab.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Meeks's waist but Meeks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
Jacob Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fenton Meeks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Smith.
Smith ducks right into an uppercut from Meeks.
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Meeks is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Meeks circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Meeks as he avoids it easily.
Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jab, jab by Meeks - just one landing.
Smith is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Meeks counters by moving into the clinch.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Meeks finish him?
Meeks comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Meeks takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Meeks swings wildly with an uppercut but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Meeks doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Smith tries for a takedown but Meeks manages to get underhooks.
Meeks lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Nice body punch from Meeks.
Meeks misses with some punches.
Smith blocks an uppercut.
Smith blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Meeks throws a punch but it's blocked by Smith.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Meeks creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Smith's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Smith drops to his knees and Meeks pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fenton Meeks!
