The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward avoids the head kick by Fontaine.
Fontaine misses with a hook
and Ward counters with a nice uppercut.

Fontaine tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ward manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fontaine tries to keep at a distance but Ward has taken the fight into the clinch.

Fontaine tries to break free but Ward pushes him back against the cage.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Ward for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
