Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between More Hamad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petrov Nikolajev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, More Hamad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Petrov Nikolajev!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamad tries to score with a low kick but Nikolajev moves his leg out of the way.
Nikolajev throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Nikolajev darts in and clinches Hamad up against the cage.
Hamad trying to stall but Nikolajev improves his position.

Hamad has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nikolajev uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Petrov Nikolajev was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Nikolajev takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nikolajev shoots in and drives through. Hamad sprawls well.

Nikolajev clinches.
Nikolajev is trying to drag Hamad to the mat but Hamad just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

More Hamad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petrov Nikolajev.

Hamad turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hamad manages to end up in side control.
Nikolajev wants to control but Hamad postures up.
Nikolajev is trying to get back to his feet.
Hamad looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Nikolajev is avoiding damage well.

Nikolajev is not content to let Hamad control the position.
Nikolajev is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hamad is controlling him well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Nikolajev's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hamad is looking to take a break and control but Nikolajev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nikolajev is trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hamad takes a little break here. Nikolajev wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Hamad tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Hamad prevents Nikolajev from escaping the position.

Hamad wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nikolajev, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nikolajev wants to control but Hamad postures up.
Nikolajev is looking for a sweep.
Hamad misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Nikolajev struggling a bit here.
Nikolajev might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hamad haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Nikolajev manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Nikolajev is taking a breather. Hamad says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Let's hope that Nikolajev has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Petrov Nikolajev.
Nikolajev swats away the attempt to clinch by Hamad.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nikolajev takes one to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that More Hamad will probably get the nod.
That's time! Hamad's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hamad swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nikolajev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hamad's guard.

Hamad is looking to sweep but instead, Nikolajev has passed into half guard.
Hamad is looking for a sweep. Nikolajev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hamad is trying to control but can't.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hamad tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nikolajev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Nikolajev shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nikolajev was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Nikolajev's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Petrov Nikolajev.
Hamad tries to close the distance and clinch but Nikolajev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hamad throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petrov Nikolajev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

More Hamad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petrov Nikolajev.
Hamad dives in and grabs Nikolajev's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nikolajev pushes down on Hamad's head and hops out.

Hamad looks to land a combination. Nikolajev sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Nikolajev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nikolajev wants it to stay on the feet.

Hamad gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nikolajev to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Hamad can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nikolajev controls the pace.

Nikolajev fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hamad, pushing him back against the cage.
Nikolajev drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hamad pulls his leg out and moves away.
No luck for Hamad with that takedown attempt.
Hamad throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hamad closes the distance and clinches up with Nikolajev, looking for a takedown. Hamad pushes Nikolajev against the cage but Nikolajev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Nikolajev counters with a shoot takedown. Hamad fights it but they end up in guard.
Nikolajev not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Petrov Nikolajev hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Petrov Nikolajev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Nikolajev has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
