Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khalifa Khalifa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Riddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalifa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Random Arab Music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khalifa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Riddler is trying to defend but Khalifa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Riddler tries to kick Khalifa off but Khalifa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Riddler pushes Khalifa off looking to stand but Khalifa dives back in and keeps control.
Khalifa slips a nice elbow through Riddler's hands, connecting with Riddler's forehead.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Riddler can do anything to dispel that myth.

Riddler's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Khalifa loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Riddler scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Khalifa land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Khalifa stands and salutes the crowd.
