Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ralph Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coleman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Coleman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Coleman moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gracie has worked his arm free - good work by Gracie!

Coleman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Coleman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coleman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Coleman is working away from the top position though.
Gracie manages to get to full guard.

Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Coleman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A close round but Steve Coleman will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Gracie looks to land a left hand but Coleman moved out of range nicely.

Gracie is staying active underneath Coleman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Coleman is working for a kimura but Gracie is defending it quite comfortably.
Gracie avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Coleman.
Coleman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Steve Coleman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Coleman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gracie is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gracie has escaped and now he's on top!

Coleman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gracie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Coleman is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gracie rolls with it to try and escape but Coleman cranks on the arm and Gracie is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
