Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Constrictor Boa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pawel Nastula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nastula has chosen Nastula theme as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Constrictor Boa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pawel Nastula!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boa closes the distance and clinches up with Nastula, looking for a takedown. Boa pushes Nastula against the cage but Nastula circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Boa shoots in looking for a takedown but Nastula manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Constrictor Boa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boa wants to free his trapped foot but Nastula is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Nastula looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Boa has picked Nastula up and slammed him! Nastula can't keep hold of the triangle and Boa manages to pass to side control!

Boa is working for a kimura but Nastula is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nastula sees it coming and defends easily.

Nastula makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nastula.

Nastula has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Boa is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Nastula.
Nastula is looking for a sweep.

Boa is really struggling to control Nastula but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Boa is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Boa wants to take a breather but Nastula is having none of it.

Boa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nastula is just riding it out for now. Boa eventually gives up the hold.

Boa is looking for a kimura but Nastula is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boa to get the leverage.

Boa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nastula keeps working.
Boa thows a huge punch but Nastula dodges it nicely.
Nastula wants to improve his position but Boa is controlling well.

Boa looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Boa is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Nastula gets his way!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nastula tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nastula works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Boa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boa shoots in but Nastula avoids the takedown attempt easily.

so Nastula counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nastula is fighting to break Boa's control of his arms but Boa is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Nastula drops back looking for a leg! Boa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boa manages to kick Nastula off! Nastula jumps back into Boa's guard.
