Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mad Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bronek Simson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronek Simson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dog working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Simson is looking to take this one to the mat.

Dog escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dog rushes Simson and presses him up against the cage.
Dog lands a shoulder strike.

It looks like Bronek Simson has been cut.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dog is thwarting Simson's attempts to control the position.

Dog is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Simson defends it well.

Dog is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Simson's half guard.
Simson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dog is working away from the top position though.
Dog is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dog is landing with some decent strikes but Simson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Simson is squirming around, avoiding Dog's attempts to control the action.
Simson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dog. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Simson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Dog locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Simson is forced to tap!

After the fight, Mad Dog was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
