Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josh Jones!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Doolittle defends it nicely.
Doolittle jabs at Jones's body.
Doolittle slips a jab from Jones.
Doolittle throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones.
Doolittle clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Doolittle gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Doolittle manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Jones's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Doolittle creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Doctor Doolittle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Jones.
Doolittle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.

Doolittle closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Doolittle.
Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Doolittle avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Doolittle throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Joness head.

Doolittle is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Jones changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Doolittle fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Doolittle cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs.

It looks like Josh Jones has been cut.
Doolittle feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jones sprawling to the canvas! Jones rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Doolittle finish him?!
Jones is rocked!
Doolittle fakes the body blow, causing Jones to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Jones goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Doctor Doolittle!
During a confident post fight interview, Doctor Doolittle thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
