The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman throws a solid leg kick but Aguinaldo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bateman.
Bateman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bateman scores with a body shot.
Aguinaldo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bateman swings for the body but Aguinaldo moves out of range.
Aguinaldo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Aguinaldo duly obliges.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bateman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bateman gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Aguinaldo.

Bateman is rocked!
Aguinaldo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bateman.
Aguinaldo tries to bum rush Bateman with a series of wild strikes but Bateman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Aguinaldo throws a right and a left that both miss.
An inside leg kick lands from Bateman.
Bateman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aguinaldo.
Aguinaldo misses the shot to the body.
Aguinaldo looks to land a combination but Bateman avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bateman throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Aguinaldo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bateman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Aguinaldo misses with a hook. Bateman ducked under it nicely.
Aguinaldo feints with a jab and clips Bateman right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Bateman is sent crashing into the canvas and Aguinaldo leaps in for the kill! Bateman tries to get to his feet but Aguinaldo is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Bateman is in need of a savior and steps in!
