The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Benevides sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Benevides gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Paul wants to stand but Benevides has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Paul wants to pass the guard but Benevides is keeping the position.

Benevides has his foot on Paul's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Paul works his way back into a safe position though.
Paul controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Paul drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Paul jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Paul wants to control from the top but Benevides keeps moving.

Benevides is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Benevides has his feet on Paul's thighs here. He's pushed Paul off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Paul screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
