And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Jackson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Isa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jackson blocks a leg kick.
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jackson looks to land a combination but Isa avoids it well.
Isa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away.
Jackson scores with a decent looking hook.
Isa thumps Jackson with a low kick.

Jackson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Isa is trying to defend but Jackson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Isa wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.
Jackson lands with a punch from half guard.
Jackson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Jackson is trying to control. Isa wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

John Jackson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
