The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods throws a half hearted mid kick.
Patton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

A head kick lands from Woods that sends Patton to the canvas. Patton tries to scramble back to his feet but Woods brings him back down into side control.

Patton is rocked!
Patton is looking to reverse the position.
Patton is working hard here to advance position.
Woods tries to get to his feet but Patton is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Woods in his guard.
Patton with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Woods can't handle though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Patton pulls Woods in close to his closed guard and prevents Woods from doing any damage or advancing position.
Woods wanted to stand there but Patton had control of the position.
Patton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Patton tries to get out of the position.

Patton kicks Woods off and gets to his feet.
A right-left combo lands from Woods.
Woods tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Woods throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Patton is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Woods connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Patton tumbling to the canvas! Woods pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Patton was done - good stoppage!
