PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fertas Bekan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Pepper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fertas Bekan had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepper takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Pepper throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bekan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pepper is in Bekan's guard.

Pepper tries to free his leg and advance position but Bekan is retaining full guard.

Bekan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Pepper in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bekan tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Pepper!
