The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Rock misses.
Rock loads up on a big right hand but Sabbatini slips the punch.
Sabbatini rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rock swats away the attempt to clinch by Sabbatini.

Sabbatini clinches up against the cage.
Sabbatini tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rock can't break the clinch.
Rock is trying to break free.
Rock wants to get back to striking at distance but Sabbatini won't allow it.
Rock tries to break the clinch but Sabbatini is controlling the position.
Rock working hard to break the clinch.
Rock wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sabbatini has him pressed against the cage.
Sabbatini tries to work over Rock's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Sabbatini pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sabbatini is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rock sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Rock swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sabbatini counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rock's knee momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sabbatini moves into range and clinches up with Rock.
Sabbatini prevents Rock from breaking the clinch.

Sabbatini is looking to break free of the clinch but Rock has double underhooks.
Sabbatini tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Rock is trying to force a seperation but Sabbatini has the dominant position.
Sabbatini is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rock gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Sabbatini drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rock gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rock is trying to break the clinch but Sabbatini has him pressed against the cage.
Sabbatini is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rock is keeping busy.

Kevin Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sabbatini fails with a takedown attempt.
Rock lands with an uppercut that bounces Sabbatini off the cage and back into range.
Sabbatini fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sabbatini tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nice sprawl there from Rock as Sabbatini shoots in.
Sabbatini is breathing heavily.
A lazy left from Rock finds it's target.
Sabbatini tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rock moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Sabbatini is rocked!
Rock lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sabbatini is looking to close the distance but Rock sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sabbatini crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sabbatini is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
